Sarah Goff is the Safeguarding Children and Young People Manager at the Ann Craft Trust based in the School of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Nottingham. The trust develops safeguarding practice across the fields of sport, safeguarding adults and young people. Sarah has worked as a social worker in child protection for over 30 years in a variety of roles and also in residential care. Additionally, she has worked at ChildLine and as a qualified social worker in practice. At the Ann Craft Trust she addresses the additional risks faced by young people with learning difficulties and needs, delivers training, consultation and does practice development work addressing these issues and good practice with young people and their carers and between agencies. She co-chairs the National Working Group for Safeguarding Disabled Children.
